Panasonic LEDs to illuminate Tokyo Sky Tree

Tobu Tower Sky Tree has decided to use lighting equipment made by Panasonic Electric Works for its Tokyo Sky Tree broadcast tower, a giant structure slated to open in 2012.  PEW is expected to install LED equipment it has been developing specifically for the tower this autumn.  Tokyo Sky Tree will have two illumination patterns: a light blue theme representing the nearby Sumida River, and a purple one representing Japanese culture in the Edo period.
