Panasonic plans NAB in 3D
Panasonic hosted a group of journalist in a New York office to unveil its NAB plans. Half the company's booth in Las Vegas will be devoted to 3D. The focus of the discussion was the AG-3DA1, the six-COMS, dual-stream SD-recording camcorder. Panasonic is now taking pre-order for the $21,000 AG-3DA1 and said that since CES, the company has received literally thousands of calls about the camcorder. Continuing the theme of end-to-end 3D systems that the company established at CES, Panasonic also announced a new 25.5-inch 3D LCD production monitor that's based on the BT-LH2550.
